Hi students,
How are you? I hope you’re fine. Now, today’s lesson is about another important modal verb. We’re going to revise the modal “should“.
We use “should” to give advice or opinions about what to do. The negative of “should“ is “should not” and the contraction is “shouldn’t“.
Examples:
Tom doesn’t study enough. He should study harder.
You shouldn’t watch TV so much.
When you play tennis, you should always watch the ball.
We often use the word “think” with “should”.
Examples:
I think you should go to the dentist.
It’s late. I think you should go home.
Do you think I should buy these shoes?
Ok, that’s all by now. If you have any questions about this modal, please ask me.
Bye. Juanjo.
